Following some long-ago advice from an old and very wise friend, I have incorporated my children into my to-do list. Here is what it looks like today:
clean house
do laundry
fold laundry
put away laundry
upstairs - esp. bathroom
clean garage
decorate garage
call Mama re: decorations, tickets
bake cake
bake brownies
bathe kids
potty train Amelia
nurse Caleb x 8
read stories
sing songs
laugh with Katy
kids devotions
my devotions
Hmmm, that looks like more than a 24 hour list...
