On tiptoes

Taking time to sniff the flowers and give thanks for the spring rains this frigid late April Saturday. How about you? What are doing in your neck of the woods?
That in the fullness of time He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth. (Eph. 1:10 exc.)

A photo hike

We are busy sprucing up Eau Claire with our church today in a massive event called "Our City". I leave you with photos from a hike I took with a friend. When you see flowers in downtown Eau Claire this summer, praise God for the many hands taking part in the clean-up today.

Lamp at Phoenix Park

Pine needles. I thought they were purty.

Looks like a snake. My man-cub will think that's cooll.

Cottonwood trunk.

Phoenix Park dandelion patch

Swirls in the current of the flooding rivers.

Weekends are for cousins

Crying cousins, waiting for Mama's milk to come home, sick of applesauce...

Silly cousins playing "library" on the couch at 10 a.m....

Stoic cousins trying not to smile for the camera....

And joy breaking through before the shutter quits clicking!

May your weekend be filled with joys unexpected,
muddy floors,
outdoor hours in the spring sun,
smelling the earth warming,
watching those around you growing like weeds.

Weekends in pictures

Weekends around the farmhouse are for projects...

...traveling for a first meeting...

and projects.
This weekend: maple syrup.
