I get that dreaded electric blue pill again this coming week. Here is the schedule. We're looking for help with childcare on both Thursday and Friday. Possibly Monday morning, depending on what dose they give me (3 or 7 millicuries of radioactive I-131).
Monday, December 14 Thyrogen injection to stimulate cancer cells
Tuesday, December 15 Thyrogen injection to stimulate cancer cells
Wednesday, Dec. 16 Scan dose of I-131, isolation from kids/pregnant women begins
Friday, Dec. 18 Whole body scan to detect cancer/diagnose lump in my neck
Sunday or Monday Home again
Monday, Dec. 28 Appointment to receive results of scan and blood tests
January I-131 treatment & 3 week isolation if there is uptake in my neck
